TX: Oldest Letterboxes, Dead or Alive

From: Silver Eagle (sileagle@alltel.net) | Date: 2004-03-21 23:27:35 UTC
As near as I can tell, the first letterbox in Texas was
Duck Creek #1, but it is now missing and abandoned and the
clues are long gone. There were several more in the Dallas
area placed in 1998 but all of them are also missing and
abandoned. The next oldest letterboxes appear to be the
Hueco Tanks #1 & #2, placed on July 11, 2000, but both are
abandoned and not confirmed alive. The clues can be
found at the Letterbox basement:

The oldest confirmed alive letterbox (as of 3/6/04) is
Eoghan's Lost Pines box, placed on 11/04/2000, with clues
found at:

I would love to hear the status of Hueco Tanks #1 & #2 so if
you have any information, please let me know.
